NEW FOR 2014!
New Date - The Cincinnati Triathlon moves from the end of July to the end of June
New Lower Entry Fees - A downtown urban race is very expensive (remember our bike course is completely closed!). Nevertheless, we have lowered our entry fees.
New Event - No duathlon this year. An aquabike is a swim/bike duathlon. No need to trash those old knees on the triathlon run!

Whether you grew up in Cincinnati, have family here or make Cincinnati your home, this is your home town. Come home to Cincinnati for the Cincinnati Triathlon.
Join athletes from Ohio, Kentucky and 30 other states on what has been called one of the most spectacular courses in all of triathlon. Active.com listed it as the Number 1 urban triathlon in 2013. That's right, better than Chicago, Philly, DC and all the other mega races.
Start with a downhill swim in the Ohio River. Downhill? The Cincinnati Triathlon swim is point to point, starting upstream and going with the current for 1350 meters. The entire swim is within 50 meters of the Ohio shoreline. Want a shorter swim? The sprint swim is also downhill, a mere 400 meters and is within 10 meters of the Serpentine Wall (your family and friends can walk along the wall with you as you swim - how much fun is that?).
After the swim is one of triathlon's most unusual bike courses. NO CARS on our bike course! The Cincinnati Triathlon bike course is completely closed to traffic, including all six lanes of Columbia Parkway. The bike course has spectacular views of the Ohio River, the Kentucky shoreline and the downtown shoreline.
Finally the run. Breath a sigh of relief as most of the Cincinnati Triathlon's run is on shaded paths along the banks of the Ohio River in Friendship Park. Even more fun is a run across the Purple People Bridge, Cincinnati's world famous pedestrian bridge spanning the Ohio River.
Swim in, bike along and run over the Ohio River in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio at the Cincinnati Triathlon on July 29, 2014.
